Heritage Centre guided tours and cream tea
Groups of up to 20 can now tour the Dent Village Heritage Centre with a guide, then sit down to a cream tea in the tearoom.
The Dent Village Heritage Centre has started running guided tours. Each one finishes with a cream tea in the centre’s own tearoom.
Tours are led by the centre’s resident historian, who’ll take you through the stories the museum is best known for: the Terrible Knitters of Dent, the Dent Vampire and the building of the Settle–Carlisle Railway.
Most of what you’ll see comes from the dale itself. Much of it was rescued and restored over many years by the family at High Laning Farm, who founded the centre.
How to book
Ask at the Heritage Centre reception, ring 015396 25800 or email info@highlaning.com. Tours cost £12.50 per person and we can take around 20 people at a time.
