High Laning is a family-run caravan and camping site on a working farm in Dentdale, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It’s open all year.

High Laning Farm has a long history and is still worked today. It’s also home to a museum and a wool shop, both a few steps from your pitch.
Local history told through the Terrible Knitters of Dent, the Dent Vampire and the Settle–Carlisle Railway. There’s a tearoom too.

Dent is a short walk from your pitch: cobbled streets, whitewashed cottages, pubs, cafés and a village shop. The Dales Way runs through the dale, and the Settle–Carlisle Railway stops at Dent station.
Explore Dent & DentdaleCheck in at the Dent Village Heritage Centre. If it’s closed, come to the farmhouse.
Ask us and we’ll put out late-arrival signs on the field opposite the Heritage Centre, to the left of the shower block.
From the A1, follow signs for Bedale and the A684. At Hawes, take the B6255 towards Ingleton and look for the turning to Dent after about four miles.
